【Tsuruoka College】 FY2025 Industry–Academia Collaboration Seminar Held by Tsuruoka National College of Technology

National Institute of Technology, Tsuruoka College, held its FY2025 Industry–Academia Collaboration Seminar on March 6, 2026. The seminar aims to deepen regional understanding and foster opportunities for interdisciplinary research, new business creation, and technological innovation through knowledge exchange with research institutions and companies both within and outside the region.
This year’s seminar was held under the theme “Revitalization of Koshu Grapes.” On behalf of Mr. Ai Baba, Project Coordinator of the Tsuruoka Creative City of Gastronomy Promotion Council, Associate Professor Takuro Ito of Tsuruoka College introduced Baba’s work, including the publication “Kushibiki Fruits Diary,” as well as the history of Koshu grape cultivation in Nishiaraya, Tsuruoka City, and unique local ways of enjoying Koshu grapes.
