The Tsuruoka Biocommunity is home to research and educational institutions including the Institute of Advanced Biosciences at Keio University, as well as 8 bio-related venture companies established based on the seeds generated there. In recognition of these efforts, Tsuruoka Biocommunity was certified by the Cabinet Office as one of the first regional biocommunities in 2021. Involving research institutions, companies, and the local community, the Tsuruoka Biocommunity aims to create an ecosystem in which people can continue to live healthier and better lives.
We offer a visitor program that provides an overview of the Tsuruoka Science Park and introduces the research and business activities of the institutions and companies that make up the park. We also provide individual introductions and matchmaking services for research institutions and venture companies. Through new encounters with visitors, we hope to create dynamic collaboration among research, business, and human resources, and to work together to create the next stage of development.
Please note that there is a fee for the Visitor Program, which varies depending on the specifics of your visit. Please contact us for further details.
