Spiber announced that Brewed Protein™ fiber has been featured in the latest installment of the “Wakayama Daibakushō” project—an initiative jointly led by volunteers from the Youth Division of the Wakayama Knit Industrial Cooperative and Japanese lifestyle magazine Begin. Under the theme “The Yarn of the Future,” this special collaboration will exhibit and sell limited-edition items at Wow! Wakayama!, part of the WASSE pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan from Wednesday, April 30 to Saturday, May 3. The collection includes T-shirts and sweatshirts produced by five Wakayama-based knitters and processing manufacturers: A-GIRL’S, Hanwa, MIC Textile, KINAN Knitting Corporation, and Fujibo Textile.
