Metagen Inc. operates the “Gut Design Co-creation Project,” aiming to promote the concept of controlling gut microbiota through cutting-edge science called “Gut Design®,” and fostering collaboration in the Gut Design market. As part of the community activities of this project, we have established “Short-Chain Fatty Acid Day” as an initiative to deepen understanding of short-chain fatty acids, metabolic substances produced by gut bacteria, and to promote lifestyles that generate short-chain fatty acids among consumers. To kick off this initiative, we organized a forum for media professionals as the first event toward public outreach.
