Metagen Inc. has independently developed the MG Kit (stool collection kit) in 2019 in pursuit of convenience in collecting stool specimens and highly accurate intestinal environment data acquisition methods. They had been using the MG Kit in their business of intestinal environment evaluation and clinical trials. However, they have received requests from researchers in academia and companies to provide the MG Kit, so they decided to sell the MG Kit as a stool collection kit.
