Metagen, Inc., in collaboration with Rohto Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., conducted a joint study focusing on the relationship between the gut environment and natural ingredients.

The study evaluated the effects of natural ingredients owned by Eu Yan Sang International Ltd. (a Rohto Group company headquartered in Singapore) on the gut microbiome and gut-derived metabolites using in vitro experiments with human fecal samples.

The results suggest the potential of these natural ingredients to improve the gut microbiome and enhance immune function.
