Metagen, Inc. announced that, in order to raise awareness and promote understanding of short-chain fatty acids—one of the major metabolites produced by gut bacteria, whose health benefits are increasingly being revealed—the company has established the “Short-Chain Fatty Acids Promotion Association” (General Incorporated Association) on August 20, 2024. The association is led by Metagen CEO Shinji Fukuda, who has been appointed as its Representative Director.
