【Institute for Advanced Biosciences】 On the Outcomes of Industry–Academia–Government Collaborative Research on Cherry Quality Preservation

The Institute for Advanced Biosciences (IAB), Keio University, conducted an industry–academia–government collaborative research project with Yamagata Sanso Co., Ltd. and the Shonai Laboratory of the Yamagata Research Institute of Technology. The group has announced research findings aimed at establishing a long-term preservation technology for Yamagata-grown cherries using gas infusion. This announcement represents the results of a research project carried out through the Yamagata Prefecture Bio-Cluster Promotion Program.
