Metagen Therapeutics, Inc., a company advancing medical and drug discovery innovations based on gut microbiome research, has announced its decision to establish Japan’s first stool donation facility, tentatively named the “Gut Microbiota Donation Site Tsuruoka,” within the Tsuruoka Science Park in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture. The facility is scheduled to open in April 2025.
