Metagen, Inc. announced that it will initiate a joint research project with Cowellnex Inc., a company jointly established by Kirin Holdings Company, Limited and Kyowa Kirin Co., Ltd., starting in February 2026.

The collaboration will focus on developing new diagnostic indicators based on high-precision gut microbiome data from Japanese populations, as well as algorithms to recommend personalized food solutions tailored to individual gut profiles.
