Metagen, Inc. has announced the expansion of its core concept from “Gut Design®” to a broader initiative, “Microbiome Design®,” aimed at realizing a future with zero disease by controlling diverse microbiomes.

Marking its 10th anniversary, Metagen will continue to advance its existing gut microbiome–focused business while expanding its scope to explore the relationship between human health and a wide range of microbiomes, including the oral microbiome, skin microbiome, as well as those associated with pets, livestock, soil, marine environments, and living spaces.

In addition, to support this expansion, Metagen has completed a fundraising round through a third-party allotment of shares to Leave a Nest Co., Ltd.
