【Institute for Advanced Biosciences】 IAB, Keio University and Education Collaboration Symposium to Be Held (Registration Now Open)

The Institute for Advanced Biosciences, Keio University and Education Collaboration Symposium,
titled “Partnerships Between Universities and Local Governments:
Town Campuses by Keio University, Tsuruoka City, and Kawasaki City Where Startups Take Off”,
will be held.

This symposium will introduce successful case studies from three “town campuses” —
Shin-Kawasaki, Tsuruoka, and Tonomachi — where Keio University has developed strong partnerships with local governments as hubs for collaboration among regions, companies, and academia.

Through panel discussions involving participants from universities, local governments, and companies, the symposium will explore the unique characteristics and appeal of industry–academia–government collaboration in both metropolitan and regional areas, as well as the current state of startup creation.
The discussions aim to further strengthen collaboration and contribute to the creation of new innovation.
